Six years ago, five young cutting-edge musicians gathered together in the domestic jazz music scene in China. EĦ¤GROOVE is the representation of their spirit. E stands for ELECTRIC and EVERY; GROOVE represents the rhythm and the team.
Six years later, E-GROOVE has become the mainstay of the domestic jazz music. By continuing to explore the new elements of music, they absorb a variety of inspirations from the music and form their own unique music styles, regardless of the conventional restraints. E-GROOVE has installed its soul into the music, bringing the audience a new audio-visual experience.
In March 2007, E-GROOVE, together with CHEN Zhipeng, held Love in Those Years ¨C Jazz Concert in Jin Mao Concert Hall and won an unprecedented success. With tacit understanding between members of the orchestra, their exquisit interpretation of the music impressed CHEN Zhipeng (who has been in the music scene for many years) and the present seniors in the entertainment industry as well as the media reporters.
In June 2007, LI Xiaochuan, the trumpeter of E-GROOVE, went to U.S. to get further study in music.
