In the aftermath of the 'traditonal and popular, novel and nostalgic' theme,'JAZZY SHANGHAI', Shanghai International Jazz Week will usher in its fifth year from January 14 to January 17, 2009. Unlike the past four festivals, 'JAZZY SHANGHAI' 5.0 Version will be composed of four bright Jazz ladies to creat an unprecedented grand jazz feast, adding a unique characteristic to Shanghai's annual international jazz music event.

No matter it is sad or full of freedom and youth, their unique mellow voices coupled with the unique rhythm of Jazz always produce wonderful music montage. For the show in 'Jazzy Shanghai' Shanghai International Jazz Week, these four jazz ladies will bring about different music styles and performances, forming diversified portfolios and making the fifth Shanghai International Jazz Week diverse and colorful.
Born in Brazil on June 4, 1970, Ono Lisa accepted the influence of many first-rate musicians at an early age in the club operated by her father. She took up guitar and sang since her fifteen. Back in Japan, she issued a debut album in 1989 and captured the audience's ears with her natural voice and sweet smile. She rapidly expanded the Bossa Nova style of music in Japan and became the first to establish its first position. Her delightful movement was no less significance than that of a local singer in Brazil. Therefore, not only in Japan, but also in New York and Brazil, Ono Lisa's music is highly praised all over the world. She even won the favor of Antonio Carlos Jobim, the God of Bossa Nova, and the cooperation between the two has created a lot of good works.
