George Benson is a pivotal master in the U.S. music industry. His transcendent achievements in creation, production, singing and guitar playing have won him a total of eighteen Grammy Awards. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1943, George Benson got to know and connect with music at the age of four. When the only 8-year-old George Benson started fiddling with his first guitar, it seems to have foreshadowed his brilliant future. He set up his first own band of rock n' roll at the age of seventeen. Later on, influenced by the jazz guitar player Charlie Christian and Wes Montgomery, he fell in love with jazz music and his concerts had been hailed as the ones with the essence of Stevie Wonder. He became highly visible in the field of jazz music by his album 'Miles in the Sky', which was recorded with the cooperation of the jazz master Miles Davis.
