Praised as "Drum King in Northern Europe", Emil has enjoyed a long reputation as top drummer in Denmark. He has cooperated extensively with a large number of best players in Denmark and overseas. He has recorded more than 150 CDs based on his performances. Wire, and influential music magazine in the world, commented on his music that "His style and voice is like a colorful procession of soldiers. It is unable to tell the feeling clearly, yet it is extremely good". This time, Emil and his band will bring their new works to the audience in China.

With the major of composition and drums playing, Emil classifies his recent works into the simulation-digital category. Computer is one of the band members, demonstrating this band's creative works and playing patterns. In their music, the synthesized vocal comprises not only the basic rhythm, but also the distinctive harmony and melody. With the assistance of Sweden versatile Gustaf Ljunggren and pianist Søren Kjærgaard, Emil creates a whole new way of performance. His interpretation completely set music free, presenting a brisk and delightful music style between the indulging impromptu and non-stop rhythm.

His new album Ombud gained widespread acclaim in the international music scene. It is his third album and co-produced by Andy Green (a famous producer who used to work with Underground and John Cale) and Spejderrobot (a DJ and music producer in Denmark who worked with Michael Elkjær). In the mean time, this album also recorded performances of many famous musicians, including Kato Hideki and Wayne Horvitz.
