Felician Honsig-Erlenburg Austria
09-04-21

Felician is unique in that it is comprised of members from Vienna and Paris. This band was established by Felician Honsig-Erlenburg. On one hand, each of them maintains his own music style; on the other, they enjoy the stable membership. "Felician"does not have much meaning literally; however, it possesses a high degree of personal connotation. The essence of the music the band plays is close to the traditional Jazz. The ultimate pursuit of this band rests not on the novel style but on the integrated melody through three kinds of musical instruments. They pursue the repetition of the materials and gradual variation so as to stimulate the dynamics of music in other realms. The band members visited Paris and enjoyed themselves at the famous Jazz club in Vienna "Porgy and Bess".
