The popularity of Bandapart Trio can be regarded in the same breath as the Chicago avant-garde rock, Iceland 'Voice', experimental Jazz and Bill Frisell. Its four band members are the most experienced in the Jazz scene of Denmark. They are keen to play in a way full of casual exchanges and cooperative improvisation. They tend to provide to the audience with colorful, brilliant and picturesque music. Bandapart Trio always performs with a number of Jazz groups and guest musicians, such as those from Danish Royal Symphony Orchestra, from the Copenhagen Underground Jazz and from New York Urban Music, making their music style even more rich and delicate.
Over the years, Bandapart has played in many clubs in Denmark and Berlin. This band recently toured and performed in China. During the Copenhagen Jazz Festival in 2007, this band was on stage of the Danish Royal Theater and performed with the Danish Royal Symphony Orchestra and Hedwig Rummel, who is a famous Danish Jazz trumpeter and opera singer.
