Brief Introduction:

In 1995, Luca Flores, the thirty-eight-year-old Italian jazz piano poet, ended his life after his recording of his last solo 'How far can I fly'.

On one night of 2005, a Roman architect accidentally gave a jazz piano record to Walter Veltroni, the contemporary Roman mayor who was not familiar with Luca Flores before and was then attracted by Luca's magical sad voice. The mayor started immediately to search all information about Luca, by finding things on the Internet, visiting Luca's family and collecting his undisclosed songs. Later on, the mayor began to write books about Luca.

This genious musician, who witnessed the death of his mother due to car accident, kept blaming himself for the occurrence of this tragedy, which led to his lasting regret and hurt in his fragile and sensitive heart. He resorted his unsaid pain to his music and created jazz in combination with the folk songs, which gained the popularity in Italy and even in the world. He is as famous as the lengendary international musicians like Chet Baker and David Holland. However, at the time when he accomplished a great deal, the extreme sadness and guiltness in his heart caused a great shock and made him choose to end his own life.
