Harry Connick Jr. Concert Rings down the Curtain

On the evening of March 12, Harry Connick Jr. held his second concert in China in Beijing Exhibition Center. As one of the world's most famous US jazz singers, Harry Jr. won the heart of Beijing audience with his lush New Orleans characteristic jazz in the nearly two hours of performances.


It is worth mentioning about a few music performances of pure Jazz style by Harry Jr. and his band. With the perfect cooperation of piano, saxophone wind, cello, trumpet and jazz drum, it undoubtedly satisfied people¡¯s acoustical enjoyment! He said the trip was wonderful, because he went to the Palace Museum, the Silk Street, as well as the Tiananmen Square. He also gave an occasional reference to the topic of the Olympic Games. His last song was a lively song Little Jumble, which lift the atmosphere of the scene up to a peak.

The concert rang down the curtain in a warm atmosphere. The audience responded with big applause for up to 10 minutes. A Chinese jazz fan said that this was the best live jazz concert in China he had ever heard and he hoped that there would be such an opportunity again. More people are looking forward to the next gathering, welcoming the next wonderful jazz night.
