The organizers of Montreal International Jazz Music Festival said that the legendary director Woody Allen and his New Orleans Jazz Band will first attend the music festival in June.

This 72-year-old man started playing the clarinet at the age of 15. It is said that Alan quietly left the ceremony of his four Oscar Awards for Annie Hall (1977), and actually went to perform at a bar with his band.

Allen loves New Orleans jazz and some well-known bands so much. He often performs in Carlyle Cafe in Manhattan. In 1996, he conducted a tour and visited Paris, Venice, Barcelona, Athens, Monte Carlo and Munich.

On June 30, Allen will only give a performance in Montreal International Jazz Festival.
