08-04-30

爵士老男人张岭 幕后达人回归故土牵手张亚东

Zhang Ling
He is a Chinese rock predecessor; he is a chief Chinese bassist; his shadow has appeared in the band of Cui Jian; and his name has appeared on the list of old and new mainstream singers, such as Tian Zhen, Han Hong, Liu Huan, Zhou Bichang, Lee Yuchun. During the twenty-year history of pop music in China, ZHANG Ling's name is not just about a musician, but about a bass soloist and an artist.

Born in Beijing in a music family, he experienced the budding of pop music with Cui Jian who lived in the same unit of compound. From clothing tastes to the music and even his Perak dance, he follows the example of Cui Jian every aspect.

After playing with foreign artists on the street and studing with Professors in the Orthodox School of Music, he contained his soul with his all favorite music when he was abroad for a few years.

Although at that time he was young and at his peak time, his heart still missing his home Beijing. As he himself said, he likes the feeling when giving the live performance. The same song will be different in diverse flavor because of the emotional impact of state and a listener with the eyes of understanding can stirred up his music inspiration.

ZHANG Ling continues his Bruce blues career. He becomes more and crazier about this music pattern. He would like to use this music pattern so that more and more Chinese people will love jazz and this romantic, bourgeoisie and mellow feeling of jazz.
