Jazz meets rock, ethno and punk.
Pianist and composer Wolfgang Seligo is very much at home in various musical styles. Apart from appearing in a duo or as a soloist he founded in 2004 the "Wolfgang Seligo - Alternative Jazz Quartet" with which he performs world wide. His compositions are influenced by jazz, rock and modern classical music with a funky and powerful sound from the piano. What you won't hear will be electronic sounds - the powerful rock band sound leaves a lot of free space for unique solistic parts. The music structure is clear and entertaining and appeals to a variety of age groups.

Wolfgang Seligo, Pianist und Komponist, ist in verschiedensten Musikwelten zu Hause. Neben seinen Auftritten im Duo oder als Solist, gr¨¹ndete er 2004 das "Wolfgang Seligo - Alternative Jazz Quartet" und spielt damit weltweit Konzerte. Bei seinen Kompositionen werden auf dem Klavier jazzige, rockige und moderne klassische Einfl¨¹sse hörbar, wobei er hier einen kräftigen, mitunter funkigen Ton anschlägt. Das Ensemble verzichtet auf elektronische Klänge - im kräftig-rockigen Band-Sound bleibt viel Freiraum f¨¹r virtuose Soli. Die Musik ist klar strukturiert und mitreißend und spricht spontan Zuhörer jeden Alters an.
