Junglecat is the Beijing-born wild child of drummer Mico and composer/vocalist Jessica Meider. Original compositions feature live drum and bass mixed with breakbeat, electronica, jazz, dub, and rock. Junglecat has scratched out the boundaries of music, then mixed it all together, leavingfans to categorize it only as "good music." Junglecat playsmusic festivals, such as BJ Jazz Festival and Midi Music Festival, and has been working the live venues of Beijing and Shanghai, including YuGongYiShan, CD Jazz Cafe, East Shore Cafeand Shanghai's JZ Club.Mention Junglecat, and excited words jump at you like "very cool," "best band I ever saw," and "gotta see them."
